Pumpkin Patch

I love the pumpkin patch by our house. This year Ryan and Veronica wanted to come with us, so they met us there. It was perfect weather and the boys had fun playing in the corn box and running through the pumpkins. Ryan buried Lucas in the corn and Noah just laughed and laughed, but DID NOT want to be buried. It was a great little morning.

KINGs of the Pumpkins!

I love this picture (below)

Back to the Corn Box.

I have about 5 weeks left. It was nice just taking one kid to the pumpkin patch, I wonder if next year will be harder with 2...

Botanical Gardens

Big Bugs and Gigantic Eco-Sculptures by David Rogers.

Veronica and Noah joined me and Ethan and Ali on a mini excursion to the Botanical Gardens. We went to see the bug exhibit. We traveled through Tropical Conservatory, and then had a picnic lunch in the shade.
Noah and Lucas had a fun chat in their strollers and Veronica and I talked about what we like to talk about most...baby names! She like Elijah Grant, we will have to see if she has a boy next. I am only about a month away from finding out what gender is growing inside of me...hmm I wonder.
Here are some of the natural bugs...
Oh and I always seem to get a good one of Noah...
He must love his Auntie Val! :)

I love New York

Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Stef went to Joanna's batmitzvah and we had to stay home. So they sent us a package, to rub it in. Lucas had a good time posing, and climbing the stairs!
I would like to add that these jammies are 12-18 months and Lucas not only filled them out at 6.3 months but they are a little tight! :)

Hats Off!

Lucas has been very into hats. As soon as he sees one he brings it to me or Nathan and points to his head. Its pretty cute. I love this boy.

The Great Escape

Lucas is very good at figuring out htings, particularly how to get out of a bad situation. I woke up yesterday morning and found Lucas on the floor, so today I took out his lamb and put it on the floor. Nathan and I sat back and watched this kid CLIMB out of the crib!

Step 1: Act cute and innocent

Step 2: Stack up blankets and animals

Step 3: Soften the bars with slobber

Step 4: Lift leg and proceed over the bar

Step 5: Laugh 'cause they don't know what's next

Step 6: Heave Ho! Away I go!

Nathan caught him because we figured out the loud bang was his bum smacking the floor!
